Its time to add something special to decor the blank spaces of your home. And one of my favorite thing to make was this beautiful crochet rug.

The crochet rug is fun to make and you can put it in any home decor! At first, I made a this crochet rug for my bathroom, because I saw that something was missing in there.

But…

I liked the crochet rug so much that I made some other ones in different colors. I used the worsted weight yarn to make them.

Tuteate shared this beautiful crochet rug pattern and the tutorial. She’s using a T-Shirt as a yarn, but you can use whatever your want. This crochet rug pattern is divided in two parts and she explained very well how to easily make it.

Crochet Rug Pattern:

Materials:
– 12mm Hook Crochet Hook
– T-Shirt yarn.

Abbreviations:
CN – Chain
Sl-st – Slip Stitch
SC – Single Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
ST – Stitch

Crochet Rug Pattern Part 1:

#1 Crochet 1 DC and 1 CN 11 times and close with 1 Sl-st.

#2 Crochet 3 CN. In next stitch, 1 DC and 1 CN. Skip 1 stitch and in the next one crochet 2 DC and 1 CN 11 times. Close with 1 Sl-st and 1 Sl-st more in next stitch.

#3 3 CN in the next stitch. Skip 2 next stitch. Skip 3 DC next stitch. 11 times. Close with 1 Sl-st and 1 slip.

#4 Skip 3 stitches and in the next one, crochet 2 DC + 1 CN + 2 DC + 1 CN. And 1 Sl-st more in the next stitch. 11 times.

#5 In the next stitch, crochet 1 DC + 1 CN. Skip 2 stitches and in the next one crochet 2 DC + 1 CN. And 1 Sl-st more in the next stitch. 23 times.

Crochet Rug Pattern Part 2:

#6 3 CN in the next stitch. Skip 2 next stitch. Skip 3 DC next stitch. 11 times. Close with 1 Sl-st and 1 slip.

#7 3 CN and in the next stitch 2 DC +1 CN. Skip 3 stitches and in the next one crochet 3 DC + 1 CN 23 times. Close with 1 Sl-st and 1 Sl-st in each of the next 2 stitches.

#8 Skip 3 stitches and in the next one, crochet 2 DC + 1 CN + 2 DC + 1 CN. And 1 Sl-st more in the next stitch. 11 times.

#9 In the next stitch, crochet 1 DC + 1 CN. Skip 2 stitches and in the next one crochet 2 DC + 1 CN. And 1 Sl-st more in the next stitch. 23 times.

#10 Crochet 3 CN and in the next stitch crochet 1 DC + 1 CN. Skip 2 stitches and in the next one crochet 2 DC +1 CN 47 times. Close with 1 Sl-st and another stip in next stitch.

#11 3 CN in the next stitch. Skip 2 next stitch. Skip 3 DC next stitch. 11 times. Close with 1 Sl-st and 1 slip.

#12 3 CN and in the next stitch 2 DC +1 CN. Skip 3 stitches and in the next one crochet 3 DC + 1 CN 23 times. Close with 1 Sl-st

#13 Crochet 5 chains this time. Clip 3 stitches and in the next one crochet 1 slip stitch. And repeat all along the rug only the last one will be different. 2 CN this time, get ready for 1 DC. Skip stitchet and in the next one 1 Sl-st + 1 DC.

#14 3 CN. In the same starting stitch 2 DC. In each of the next 2 stitches crochet 1 DC. In the 3rd chain of the next mountain of stitches, crochet 1 Sl-st. In the 1st and 2nd chain of the next mountain of stitches, crochet 1 DC. In the 3rd chain, crochet 4 DC. In the 4th and the 5th chain, make 1 DC. In the 3rd chain of the next mountain of stitches, crochet 1 Sl-st. Repeat the same all along the rug until the starting point. In the 1st and the 2nd chain of the last mountain of stitches, crochet 1 DC. In the 3rd chain of the starting point, crochet 1 DC. Close with 1 Sl-st.
